Sun Apr 26, 2009, 11:40 PM
Hey all, i am in fact still alive but have been occupied with my new life and responseabilitys at university and now am a fully fledged art student thus making me quite poor so i am opening wide for commisions of any type traditional or digital.

Traditional peices in pen pencil or paint will be
A5 $10 -colour $15
A4 $20 -colour $25

Larger or smaller are negotiable as is the medium on which it is done.
(there may be a small extra fee for postage, depending(i have to buy envolopes))

I am happy to do most any subject matter from furries to fan characters to animals ect

i am also happy to do custom wolf/fox geishas like [link]

looking foreward to taking some on :)

*also i am thinking of giving the option of prints on some of my photos and maby other images if people would like specific ones

animal art challenge

Sat Jan 10, 2009, 8:13 PM
Found on live journal. i want to do this to make myself draw more because i need to.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Draw each and every one of the animals on this list. There is no time limit. It doesn't have to be in order, it doesn't even have to be anthro/humanoid. It doesn't even really have to be fully colored, it can be a pencil sketch if you'd prefer. Just give them a try. Not only will you push yourself in the process, you will learn about more of the amazing and exciting animals this world has to offer! Feel free to post this in your journal or webpage to show your progress, share it with friends, or simply use for inspiration. Some of these WILL be difficult, but you can do it! I tried not to make any of these so obscure that they wouldn't have much information or pictures of them. Some of these are also extinct, but all of them have artistic interpretations and pictures of their skeletons available on the internet or in books.

Winter solstice wishlist

Method:

- Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered...Your choice) to your Journal/blog with a list of 10 holiday wishes.

- If you have material items on your wish list, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where a Random Kind Stranger (or friend) could get in touch with you.

Next: What comes around goes around

- Let your friends know about the list idea, Skim around your friends list (or friends friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And this is where the karma aspect comes in:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so then go for it. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure.

I recommend writing a list of what you think you can find and having a snoop through charity shops - if you spend money then its small amounts and goes to helping others too.

- You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The idea isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your choice.

- There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...hope, and and an inclination to do something for someone else.
Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Then
Post your wishlist to your journal/blog! you never know, someone may be able to grant you a holiday wish!
